In a world where climate change has made vowels ever more scarce, Welsh is among the most sustainable languages in the world!

Welsh is very lyrical. Shame bout Maori. It too sounds really nice. Be happy to see the world’s most irritating ( to my ears) languages die out. Starting with Arabic and Vietnamese.

Newyddion Gwych? Sounds like someone with a lisp saying Newt Gingrich.

Sorry I don’t believe that many people speak Welsh on a daily basis.

Catherine Zeta Jones can speak Welsh to me anytime. It sounds dirty.

Years ago I viewed on tv one of the very few movies ever made in welsh. A decidedly limited market to say the least. It was a bit boring and of course needed subtitles. I didn’t seek any of the few other movies made in welsh.

While I have absolutely no aptitude for languages (Biblical Hebrew, a textual language, being the one exception), I have always been fascinated by languages. Back in high school I would check out books by Mario Pei just to see some examples of really exotic languages.
One of the greatest things about the Internet is access to so many really exotic languages (Welsh, Mongolian, Albanian, Maltese, Greenlandic, etc.).

Just in time. A natural way to prevent the worrld from developing an evolutionary Twitter Thumb with all those extra letters.
