As we head into a 2020 offseason in which about 70% of the NFL’s players are black, and the NFL itself is celebrating a 100th anniversary that is filled with all kinds of racial inequality, the current state of black head coaching candidates, and other candidates of color, should be a much bigger concern than it is. How did we get here, and why does the NFL fail to find a solution to what seems to be a simple problem of excellence and equality?

Old enough and been put in line behind some less deserving more than once since the mid 1960’s! Yes that old...almost had it fixed once or twice until everyone under the age of 40 now has become “woke” on just abort every insignificant topic allover again as if they just thought of it as some major damn new issue...indoctrination has ruined this country and made the ‘educated’ (NOT) dumber than hell!!!

I think the NFL had a draft of a plan for moving to lingerie football. But the pre-season of all males in lingerie set the plan back a few decades. Mayor Pete went to every game, though.
Sounds like they need to remove enough NFL players to get down to the legal 13%. Then assign 2 black coaches to teams by the short straw draw. Diversity is so simple.

And what about Somali-Illegal-Immigrant-Congresswomen-who-divorce-to-marry-the-head-of-their-PAC-to-steal-money COACHES. Somebody did something to make that happen. And now, looking at the pic of the author, Doug Farrar (at right), I notice another highly disadvantaged group. Why are there no Mole-on-the-Nose-Social-Justice-Warrior-Sports-Journalist COACHES in the NFL? It's because the NFL is RACISSSS! /sarc |

I no longer care who the NFL hires to do what. Used to be a fan but haven’t watched in several years now - tried the other day and just found it boring.
