Report: Giants hire Patriots receivers coach Joe Judge as next head coach

The New York Giants have found their next coach. The team is reportedly finalizing a deal with New England Patriots wide receiver coach Joe Judge, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

This guy was recently mentioned as a candidate for the head coaching job as Mississippi State.

Well that makes sense.

Because one of the super glaring weaknesses in the Pats offense was their receivers.

Heck, some of the new ones acted like they were allergic to the ball and would swell up and die if they touched it with their hands.

So, sure. The guy that trained them should make an excellent head coach.

What a great transferable skill to bring to the running backs and special teams, dropping the ball and fumbling is a real winner.

Yep. Brady had no one to throw to... except Edelman, who had a huge drop late in the game.

Seriously, the best gig for Garrett could be coaching at his alma mater, Princeton.

He comes across as the perfect Ivy League coach.

In fairness, he’s was also the Pats Special Teams coordinator in addition to being the receivers coach.

Chuck Fairbanks did an especially egregious job, and he went back to the collegiate level!
