A popular tourist rock formation in Puerto Rico has collapsed after a strong earthquake shook the island, damaging homes and causing power cuts.
The stone arch, known as Punta Ventana, was destroyed on Monday, when the earthquake hit.
The 5.8-magnitude quake struck at a depth of 6km (3.7 miles), off the Caribbean island's southern coast. No tsunami alerts were issued and no casualties have been reported.
There were, however, reports of severe damage to buildings, landslides and widespread power cuts after the earthquake, which struck at 06:32 local time (10:32 GMT).
Pictures of the aftermath, showing homes upended from their foundations and cars crushed under buildings, were posted to social media.
Among them was a picture of Punta Ventana after it had collapsed into the ocean, near the southern town of Guayanilla.

Here comes that battered old Tin Cup, looking for President Trump to fill it up full of US Dollars again.
That place cannot get a break.
Great Ocean Road it was called:
As you can see, you would truly be stranded on the other end. Luckily, they didn't get hurt.
In the 90's another one called "London Bridge" also collapsed - also in Australia.
the Window to the Caribbean has become the rampart to the Caribbean
curious to find out how they got stranded, they must of got up there somehow
I might have confused it with ‘London Bridge’...
or was it “The Arch”...
The arch is a significant tourist attraction along the Great Ocean Road near Port Campbell in Victoria. ... The span closer to the shoreline collapsed unexpectedly on 15 January 1990, leaving two tourists (Kelli Harrison and David Darrington) stranded on the outer span before being rescued by police helicopter.
AOC should start being nice.
Reminds me of when New Hampshire lost their Old Man of the Mountain..
It would appear to me that, standing on top of the whole unbroken rock formation, one would STILL be stranded.
They just had a 6.4!
Followed by a 5.6!
whoops.
i think it’s another simple example for those scientists stuck thinking everything takes millions of years to erode, etc.
God is in control, always. some things happen quick, some slower, but always when He says it’s ok.
