I'm sure some can come up with better ad lines for Chevy trucks carrying a ring and finger for a funeral.

Chevy has the worst commercials. I am not a GM fan. But would prefer a car or truck by the big 3 than a foreign made vehicle. But geeze Chevy commercials are embarrassing

I was going to ask how are relatively newer Chevy trucks getting in to Iran, a country under multiple economic sanctions? But I assume the answer is, nobody enforces them.

I HATED the ones where Bob Seger's "Like A Rock" was sung in the background. His voice is like fingernails on the chalkboard, AND he's an uber lefty worthy of being despised. I am sure I am not the only one who feels that way on one or both counts.
Runner up for bad ad from GM, the "This is NOT your father's Oldsmobile, this is the new generation of Olds". For those of us who have similar tastes in cars to our dads, this is NOT a selling point. And if you don't like what Olds stood for for 80+ years at the time (a professional man's car that is not a status symbol), you wouldn't be considering it anyway.

“Wooo-hoooo... Like a truck. Oh, like a truck!”
I’m no Seger fan, either, but that’s what runs through my head when I hear those commercials.

If you need a truck, buy a Honda Ridgeline - made in Alabama by non-union American workers.

Best pickup truck commercial ever was for 1974 Ford F-150 where they used clips from the Charles Bronson movie "Mr. Majestyk".
Damn good movie, too.

Best GM commercial was, “They go together like the good ole USA, baseball hot dogs, apple pie and Chevrolet.”

GM trucks were reliable up until 2014 and Ford trucks have slipped as well. Ridgeline and Tundra are more reliable and built in the us.

No. I wont. I have a 2014 Hemi ram 1500. Gets 22 mpg on the highway. Comfortable, fast, solid truck with interior appointments of a luxury car. Ive owned Japanese designed vehicles and liked the ones Ive had (I worked as a Honda motorcycle mechanic in the 70s). But since the late 80s Ive stuck with American designed vehicles and havent got a lemon.

I don’t think the Honda has the payload and towing capacity of my 2500HD Chevy.

Accidentally clicked on an add for ford trucks at a local dealer. MSRP $71,500, Sale price $60,300 for a half ton twin turbo V-6! I shudder to think what replacing my ‘04 Cummins would cost now.
Who in their right mind can afford such prices? Makes restoration of my ‘72 Cheyenne Super look cheap.
