When I imagine men shoveling coal into a boiler it brings up a second image of the Titanic sailing blissfully toward the iceberg. The big fellas stoking under her stacks were the first to die that night. Maybe Slow Joe made an unconscious connection with that doomed ship and crew and his ridiculous campaign.
