What kind of new age crybaby crap is this? I thought the whole point of any sport, other than golf, was to score more than your opponent? I think that is more insulting, to the losing team to stop treating them as valid opponents and playing with the same commitment all the way to the end of the game.

The outright humor of all this talk of “running up the score” is both arbitrary and subjective. K-Mart Blue Light Special - Kleenex - Hit it!
Isn’t there the story of Woody Hayes running up the score on Michigan in a blowout by going for two after a late touchdown. When asked after the game why he went for the two point conversion, he responded, “Because they wouldn’t let me go for three.”
Maybe Saban was weary of telling his players the bowl was a place to showcase their tallent to pursuade them to play? May e Saban felt his team didn’t earn enough points in the 1st half?
Oh, okay.
Sorry for the misunderstanding.
Izzat a wolverine?
I don’t care about the final touchdown. Michigan ran the ball effectively in the first half and led at halftime. They looked like a different team in the second half. I don’t follow Michigan football, but given his record in big games and bowl games, I have to think that’s on Harbaugh.
Second paragraph of the article says it all.
Saban is referred to as a five time national champion.
Harbaugh is referred to as Harbaugh.
“A little spanking of a Michigan team by a Bama team is always a good way to end the season.”
Either way - Bama is watching the playoffs and Championship from home, while Clemson goes for another National Championship.
I’m reminded of a Barry Switzer statement when one of his Oklahoma teams was accused of “running up the score”. He basically said that by game end he was usually playing second and third string players. His question was this: When I send in the reserves, should I tell them to play badly?
Also, a 12 point lead with six minutes left is not necessarily a secure lead.
MInnesota managed to modify the logo to make it even less intimidating

New:
Still, things could have been worse.
Here's the original logo from days of old:
How about taking a knee?
Meanwhile....Auburn, what was that?
Although that was a nice tribute to Pat Sullivan with the “7” on the helmets.
Roll Tide...
...any time a Harbaugh is humiliated it’s a good day.
You betcha! Najee deserved to end his Bama career on a high note.
Saban has had to preach the 60 minute game rule to his teams every year. Gus Malzahn used one second on the clock to beat Bama on more than one occasion.
Yes.
LOL, the only place the Tide is rolling this year is in the washing machine during the playoffs as Clemson and LSU play for it all.
And as far as Harbaugh’s being humiliated, stick to Jim.
John Harbaugh is now beating the Steelers with Ravens backups lol.
John will be humiliated too. Harbaughs. It’s what they do.
