Hey Alex.
You were on a dairy farm.
That wasn’t mud on your boots.

Phhf, city boys.

I know what I'm going to buy my granddaughter next Christmas. She's 25....ate butter by the spoonful when she was a tot.

P.S. I give her money, too.

My eldest son calls butter....."God's Gift".

Yes.

If someone is willing to pay that price.

My attitude is, it’s worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

If someone has earned their money and they can afford it, then spend it on whatever they enjoy. If I was wealthy I might give it a shot. I’m not, so I won’t.

I know people that think I am nuts to spend money on my motorcycle. My BIL wants us to spend several thousand plus to go to a high end Mexican resort they rave about. I’d rather spend my discretionary recreational money on my bike.

I can taste the difference between cheaper butters and more expensive butters.

Me too.

It’s delicious.

You won’t go back to other butter.

It’s worth what ever someone is willing to pay for it.

"At $50 a pound, I expect it to be smeared on someone really beautiful."

I'm now raising money to open a buttered women's shelter. Freepmail me if you are willing to donate!

I keep Kerrygold on the counter for toast, pancakes, biscuits and such. Regular grocery store unsalted in the refrigerator for cooking/baking.

“I’m still irritated with gun powder above $20’s a pound.”

Remember Bullseye at $9.00 a pound?

It is the same thing as cheaper ice creams and more expensive ice creams, HOWEVER $50.00 a pound seems excessive to me!!!

If the difference is between green grass vs hay, then feed your cows cubes in the Summer, Fall & Winter to get the chlorophyll.

Yeah. I’d put my grandmothrr’s himemade butter up against this stuff. Local store had some Amish butter at $5 a pound. Disappointing.

Land O’ Lakes

62+ years ago I would deliver (with the Model A, on the way to high school) the cream in 5, 7, or 10 gallon cream cans (not milk cans) to the Western, Nebraska depot, and pick up any empties that might be there. The cans were addressed to Lakeville, Minnesota. A few days, a check for the cream would come in the mail. I don’t know, but suspect they probably made sour cream butter with it. Sometime after I left home the Folks shipped the cream to a more local operation.
