Did the FBI have foreknowledge....?

On Sunday, during what would otherwise likely be a quiet worship service at the West Freeway Church of Christ in White Settlement, Texas, an armed gunman entered the church and after talking to a man for several minutes in the corner, pulled out a shotgun and opened fire.
The gunman, as was witnessed in recorded video of the entire incident, barely managed to get off more than a few rounds before an armed security guard standing 50 feet away from the shooter drew his pistol and fired a single shot, instantly killing the gunman with what appeared to be a perfectly placed head shot.
Late Sunday night, reports began to emerge via social media that the hero who managed to severely mitigate the loss of life inside the church by quickly killing the gunman is reportedly identified as a local man by the name of Jack Wilson, who also happens to reportedly be a long-time, certified firearms instructor.
“Seeing posts starting to come in that the hero who stopped the Texas church shooter is Jack Wilson, the owner of On Target Shooting Academy. From ~50ft he drew his weapon under pressure and fired one shot to the terrorist’s swiftly moving head in just 2 seconds. Hero,” a tweet posted by Caleb Hill with a picture of the reported security guard.
Going by numerous reports on social media, the hero Texan has a great reputation in the community and possibly runs a firearms training school. There are also reports from reported locals that he’s a retired FBI employee, though that hasn’t yet been confirmed either.
Wilson, if he was the hero who saved the day, managed to confidently and safely end the gunman’s life with one precision shot to the armed gunman’s head, which he is currently being highly praised for on social media.
A Facebook profile picture of Jack Wilson indicates that he owns a company called On Target LTC, LLC.
No major media outlets have confirmed that Jack Wilson, as pictured above, is confirmed as the hero who ended the shooting, though social media reports are rapidly being spread that he is, in fact, the individual in the video who took the gunman down.
If this information should change, we will update the post accordingly.
Unfortunately, one innocent life was lost in the church shooting, however, without the hero’s quick actions, presumably many more would have followed.
Update 8:18am : Heavy.com is reporting that Jack Wilson is running for county commissioner in Hood County, TX. He reportedly posted a status update on a Facebook page for his campaign saying he “to take out an active shooter in church.”

You can only hear three shots but I think that there were four shots. You can see the muzzle flashes from the shooters shotgun. I think that the hero, Jack Wilson, fired at the same time as the shooter’s last shot.
While morbid, it’s interesting to go back and look at individual’s reactions as this plays out. I hope many other churches take a long hard look at this video and use it to develop an effective plan for dealing with this type of event.
I know that our church has such a plan in place. We even have a uniformed police officer present during each morning service.

We have a gun store with an indoor shooting range in my town. Wonder if it’s owned by this guy? (Might have to go gun shopping this week...)

I Should have added that the store is called On Target Sports.
They might not even know who he is yet. Normal people take ID with them when they go places. Homicidal maniacs might opt to leave their ID at home.
Some guy shows up at a church with no ID, it could take a while to find out who he is.
It looks to me that the parishioner that got shot was pulling a weapon when he saw the shot gun. God rest his soul and May his family be comforted by God’s Spirit.
Waiting for a liberal pundit to hold this up to defend magazine limits in 3...2...

If you are as good as Jack Wilson, magazines are optional anyway...one in the chamber seemed to solve the problem.
I saw the video. There were several others armed as well....................

I’m sure the police interrogation of Wilson went something like: “Nice shot, Jack, thanks. Want a cup of coffee?”
