You can only hear three shots but I think that there were four shots. You can see the muzzle flashes from the shooters shotgun. I think that the hero, Jack Wilson, fired at the same time as the shooter’s last shot.
While morbid, it’s interesting to go back and look at individual’s reactions as this plays out. I hope many other churches take a long hard look at this video and use it to develop an effective plan for dealing with this type of event.
I know that our church has such a plan in place. We even have a uniformed police officer present during each morning service.

It looks like the guy sitting along the wall was trying to pull a gun from behind his back but was a little too slow. He may be the one who died because it looks like he was shot. I feel so bad for the church goers who will probably be afraid to go back.
