Cats on Broadway was a big hit. It is creative and the music by Andrew Lloyd Webber is awesome.
Cats the movie changed everything....even the music.
It was the usual Hollywood arrogance of knowing how to do things “better” than stage.
That is why Cats the movie is a failure....it strayed away from the stage production.
Bialystock and Bloom’s Dream Come True!
Unfortunately, almost no one knows who Jewell is or cares.
Last weekend I tried to talk my buddy into going to see it, but it was Star Wars or bust for him, so we went to see that instead.
I still want to see Jewell very badly. Might have to go by myself.
Jewell would have been better as an HBO or Netflix feature rather than in cinemas.
For Christmas my son gave Mom tickets to a musical play type deal in Minneapolistan.
He said my gift was that I did not have to go.
Best Gift EVAH.
I do not remember that in either the show or the movie.
Franky Valley and the Four Seasons.
Yes, you’re right, and that makes me sad, because I’m trying to recall anyone else, but I’m thinking Richard Jewell was the first person destroyed by the media chasing a narrative.
And the same damned network did the same damn thing to George Zimmerman.
They are trying to do it to Trump now with the help of half or more of the federal government.
This sh*t is getting bad.
Anyway, rant aside, I think it is an important film.
Why anyone would take an Andrew Lloyd Webber musical and change the choreography to it is beyond reason.
Frankie VALLI.
He’s paesano like me and the only reason they got a chance at stardom was because of the mob and it caused them problems through the years.
Sometimes dangerous ones.
Ditto for Tommy James and the Shondells.
He didn’t specify. Probably some of the big songs.
I have a couple guys I work with, both in their 40’s that just made a lot of money on Taylor Swift tickets for next years tour.
The key is you need to join her fan club so you can buy the tickets when they go on presale. FYI, this is how all the ticket brokers get the good seats. They join “the artists” fan club.
One of the guys was a ticket broker before working on our trading floor. I remember years back when they both were members of Hannah Montana’s fan club. They also made a lot of money on those tickets.
This is also how I purchased Kenny Chesney tickets about 15/20 years ago.
The key is to get tickets for the concerts that the RICH parents pay to take their daughter. Those are the tickets that go for thousands of dollars over face value. You have to be ready to purchase the best seats the second they go on sale.
scuzi Valli, not Vally
Will the Cats be able to dig a hold in their litter box deep enough to bury this turd? Har!
Hole! Freaking spellckeck!
They tried to prop it up but as everyone knows cats will always knock things off.
“We broke up during the show.”
You should have at least encouraged her to “pay you back” later that night after the show.
They milked it for all it was worth onstage and then waited too long to make the movie. Cats was a phenomenon when it first opened. By the time a movie was made, no one was interested.
Audiences didn’t need to be dissuaded by negative reviews. The creepy trailer was enough.
He'll be happy to hear that.
