Even after a dispiriting loss to the lowly Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, Cleveland Browns head coach Freddie Kitchens spoke like he'd have a job to come to on Monday. Turned out, he would not.

Fat Freddie.
He let himself go so badly I forget he was a QB at ‘Bama. I thought he played like OL.
6-10 is a “Championship” record for the Browns.
He got the Fat Freddie nickname while still playing. He’s actually thinned up a bit since then. My guess is that Nick Saban will bring him back to Tuscaloosa as an “advisor”.
2018: 6-10
2019: 3-12-1
The Lions have been rebuilding for 50 years......LOL!
that team is a disaster, they have a bunch of “look at me” players who didn’t mix, especially OBJ and the QB....they need an experienced coach who won’t tolerate the BS
When you change coaches and players over and over with the same results, where’s the problem?
Bring back Hue Jackson. LOL [j/k]
Terrible hire. Made no sense at the time and I think they realized by mid October. The club gave him a chance to show progress during the season, but, outside of a win over Baltimore, they underperformed all season.
Dallas Cowboys need the same thing. They got the talent to go to the Super Bowl, but their players are charmin-soft. Problem is, the minute a tough coach gets in their grill, they’ll go whining to that inbred Arkansas hillbilly and totally undercut the coach’s authority.
Knowing the Browns luck he will go on to coach a Super Bowl dynasty somewhere else.
Why? 6-10 is decent for the Browns
bump
Freddies dead
Freddies dead
LOL
Bernie Kosar was their last star :)
The 6-10 finish is exactly what local commentator Trivisonno predicted, based simply on rookie head coach, second year quarterback.
I thought the Browns at the end of last year should have hired then interim coach Greg Williams for the HC job. Oh well... and OBJ is still an immature diva. They need a Tom Coughlin type.
Again a mediocre season. This guy’s been given more than enough chance.
I agree with you.
The only coach I know that at least APPEARED soft but was a winner was Pete Carroll.
Well, the black coach of the colts back some years was a winner and he seemed pretty mellow.
But who knows what goes on during practice?
