Even after a dispiriting loss to the lowly Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, Cleveland Browns head coach Freddie Kitchens spoke like he'd have a job to come to on Monday. Turned out, he would not.

And the NY Giants just fired Shurmur...the headcount begins
Redskins fired their President and GM, Bruce Allen. The speculation is that they are close to a deal with Ron Rivera to become the new head coach (Bill Callahan is “interim” HC in the aftermath of the mid-season firing of Jon Gruden’s little brother).
At least my neighbor stopped wearing his Browns shirt and hat! Same with my Redskins fan neighbor. Now they both chat about golf. Hahahaha
Bellichick is still their most winningest coach since the 1980s.
Prediction: Jason Garrett will be the next coach of the Giants.
No doubt. Should happen in the next few days. He'll drive the NY media absolutely crazy...lol.
Giants fans may not be excited about Garrett.
But that being said, how excited were Patriots fans when they hired Bellichick, after his Cleveland flameout?
It will be interesting to see how Garrett does in a normal situation where he has control over assistant coaches and players. That’s why it’s not necessarily fair to evaluate him based on coaching in Dallas with Jerry Jones, it’s not a normal situation.
The Giants also resuscitated Tom Coughlin’s career after his flame-out with the Jaguars.
If you have the choice between coaching the Giants or the Cowboys, it’s a no-brainer, the Giants. A much more solid organization.
Look how they treated Tom Landry after Jerry fired him.
You’re thinking Tony dungy. You don’t have to be a total asshole to be a good coach. In high school, my coach never cussed us or allow his staff to cuss or humiliate us in any way. That said, we had TOUGH practices...our tails were dragging after each one...and we won two State Championships my last two years of High School, including the last undefeated team the school had.
He was fat when he played QB at Bama!! LOL
Wow. That’s great man.
Yeah one doesn’t have to be a jerk to be a great coach. You’re right.
I could throw the ball a quarter mile. If the coach had put me in, we woulda won state. (Napoleon Dynamite, Uncle Rico reference)
That’s what I said! Ha
