“For me, once I saw the policies that President Obama pushed in the back half of his presidency just — it left a bad taste in my mouth,” said Former NFL player Jack Brewer during an appearance on “Fox & Friends” on Saturday.
Brewer predicted that a “black awakening” would lead to President Trump garnering more than 20 percent of the black vote in 2020.
“And then I really started being awakening [sic] to what was happening with the Democratic Party — making so many promises but then abandoning the community that I worked so hard in.”

Like 2016, Trump will just need to win either of PA, MI, or WI.
He will win more minority voters than last time.
He will win more blue collar voters than last time.
He should be able to coat-tail many House Reps to victory (close to re-take the House), and some battleground Senators as well (we should maintain majority there).

I’d like to believe this but I just do not trust this voting bloc. They’ve never shown that they wanted to be anything else but be completely in the bag for Dimms. They are essentially America’s version of Palestinians.

The proof of the pudding will be the election. Until then, color me hopeful but wary of overoptimism. It’s never worked with the American Jewish voters.

Yeah, except even a cursory look around shows numerous younger black Americans who are very vocal in their support of Trump.

Religious Jews vote Republican. Having Jewish ancestry doesn’t make you a practicing Jew, any more than having Christian ancestry makes you a practicing Christian.
Throughout the history of the Jewish people, there has always been a battle between the Jews who are faithful to the Jewish religion, and the assimilationed Jews. That’s what the story of Hanukkah was all about. It’s the religious Jews who keep the Jewish religion alive, and the assimilated Jews are like leaves falling off of a tree. The Jewish people are self-sustaining, because enough Jews pass on their beliefs to their children.
The more important question is will Christianity survive now that all the cultural institutions of the West that used to promote it now denigrate it?
Meanwhile, black business ownership is up 400% under Trump. Black employment and income mobility is roaring, even with the current slack in manufacturing.
I hope he is but will believe it when I see it.
It won’t be new black voters, it will be current black voters switching. Different thing entirely, and a two-fer!
