I've never heard of the source quoted in the original post and I was unable to find similar information elsewhere in a source that I recognize as reliable.
So as far as I'm concerned, the original post is fake news, even with it citing Newsmax for part of its claim.

I think you’d have more trouble finding a prominent Democrat (or family member of one) who did NOT have a sweetheart deal of that sort than one who did.
