Some folks act as if it is a physical attack on them.I heard someone screaming ,"Don't try to force your stupid god on me!" after the other had said the awful imprecation, "Merry Christmas." Granted I was outside a bar and the altercants were on the sidewalk out front and probably drunk but it indicates something.
