She is good. But my wife watches her show and it has turned liberal. She caters to Gays and snowflakes needing safe places.

Actually this is a better performance than Mariah Carey or Celine Dion’s renditions of the same song.

Too much “riffing” for my taste.

Mariah Carey’s is terrible, too. I like Celine Dion’s version. (sorry?!)

I tend to dismiss pop stars who put out the obligatory Christmas album. They be “stylin’” (warbling) thru the melodies with little, if any, real comprehension of the songs’ meanings. It’s done on the advice of their agents, to maintain a continuing revenue stream long after they’re no longer top 40 stars.
Of course, some pop stars have the voice & reverence to carry it off better than others. YMMV.
Sorry to be a grinch. Merry Christmas!

I did listen to the link. Gorgeous vocals without a doubt, yet -- it misses the mark, for me. Funny how we all have a certain expectation for certain songs, especially Christmas/religious ones. And the "expectations" differ for each, as well.
Hoping you & yours had a beautiful Christmas.

Good. or bad? Both. She has a good voice but I don't like the "modern" arrangement.

    I like this one better.
