We don’t have any big Christmas plans. Keith bought a prime rib roast he’s going to do on the grill and finish in the oven, I guess. Christmas Eve is our wedding anniversary. We’ll just be home alone together.

Merry Christmas, folks. Sorry for the late response. The welcome center is ringed by high hills, and not only is the signal lousy there, my Tinker Toy Android phone doesn't play well with HTML in Chrome. Vision, yes, I'm in Cumberland now, and there's good dusting of snow on the ground up here in the Hillbilly Highlands. Between the rain, traffic volume, car crashes, a dutiful son pit stop to get everyone foot long MTO subs at Sheetz because Mom hasn't gone to the supermarket yet (LOL! Well, she is 79 and can't stand up too long - boy, do we make a pair......) and gas stops, it took just shy of 15 hours to get here. A new endurance record in the wrong way. My whole body is vibrating like a violin string. It feels like I'm sitting on a washing machine in spin cycle. My legs are so shot from the drive, I had to use my cane to get from the car to the front stoop, then pull myself in with the doorknob. But I'm not going to bed until I finish this beer. I earned this one. Everyone stay safe and enjoy your family - it's the only one you got!

Oh, I guess you’re aware there was a 69 car pileup on 64 in Williamsburg yesterday. Careful down there. They have a black ice Special Weather Statement out from here down to the Bay through the morning, if you’re leaving early - fog and black ice, same recipe for that pileup. It’s 24, foggy and misty here right now.
