CNN Pays 58 Airports $100,000 Each to Play Channel at Gates

Tucker Carlson Tonight reported CNN is spending millions of dollars to have their channel played at fifty-eight airports across the United States.

As Carlson explained, CNN is paying the airports approximately $100,000 each to “pump propaganda into America’s airports, holding its hapless travelers hostage.”

He commented: “It’s not something [the airports] would do willingly. Who would? Nobody watches [CNN] – it’s garbage.”

“This service is likely costing CNN six million dollars a year,” Carlson explained. “But they do it anyway because what’s the value of propaganda?”

Carlson was joined by author and commentator Mark Steyn to further discuss the topic.

“They pay over six millions dollars to bother people, to hector people in airports,” Steyn said. He suggested, “You know for six millions dollars they could actually afford to buy Murder She Wrote reruns…and they might actually have a sporting chance at some ratings.”

“I was at LAX yesterday while the anchors were talking about what a sad, somber, solemn, sorrowful day it is,” Steyn continued. “And people did look sad, somber, sorrowful, and solemn – but that was because they had been stuck at gate 59 watching Wolf Blitzer for four hours.”

Finally the truth comes out. The next question is, how are they still in business? Who is really funding them?

Yep.

Though, I do notice enough lib travelers gazing at it to probably make it worth their while.

Which is why they get on the plane hopping mad and take it out on the other passenger who is wearing a MAGA hat, minding his own business.

CNN is a hate group.

George Soros and his backers (nations and groups hostile to The United States) must be astonished at how cheap they can buy the whores at CNN.

The Minneapolis airport is paid $200 thousand, and CNN furnishes and maintains the equipment.

Anti American governments from around the world who allow CNN to do business in their countries?

CNN gets access to their markets. CNN gives those anti American government propaganda access to ours.

Sure be NICE if someone closer to our side, like Fox, could scrounge up, say, $10 Million and displace them...but never seems to happen.

[ CNN Pays 58 Airports $100,000 Each to Play Channel at Gates ]

Aren’t airline passengers suffering enough already?

Must they be brainwashed by propaganda artists, too?

Why not play some screeching Yoko Ono instead?

Perhaps airports could charge passengers a “ no CNN convenience fee”?

The real fools in this venture are the advertisers...

Second is the airports selling out cheap.

If CNN will pay $100,000 to target advertisers think how much MORE advertisers would pay airports DIRECTLY for 100% ads run 24/7...

Why should airports have CNN offensive content in-between ads? Just run ads.

They must make money telling advertisers they are in all the airports where there is pretty much a captive audience. Try to get the challenge changed in the gate area. Maybe the bars.

The mystery is why with a decade of reduced ratings is how is the CEO still in his job.

CNN not knowing it’s a comedy channel that eases peoples mind before boarding the plane.

It’s a hostage crisis all over our nation.

It’s too bad that travelers waiting at airports do not have some sort of electronic devices in their hands where they can read the news of their choosing.

I did not see if this was an annual fee, a monthly fee, a daily or something else.

AT&T’s Warner Media division has around $25 billion in annual revenue. Using CNN as unreported Dem campaign contributions amounts to pocket change.

By the way, doing some quick math:

If there are 200 screens per airport, and each screen uses, say 100 Watts, that’s 20kW running non-stop, which then costs the airport about $30,000 in electricity per year. The airport still comes out ahead, but pissing off half of your customers by forcing them to move to ‘unbiased locations’ to get away from those animals, for $70,000 a year, seriously?
