A 17-year-old is now believed to be the youngest student to ever receive a masters degree from TCU.
Carson Huey-You walked during Saturday afternoons ceremony, where he accepted his masters degree in physics after receiving his undergraduate degree at 14.
Something like this certainly seems to be one-of-a-kind, but he also has a younger family member, who is now following in his footsteps.

Meanwhile, it looks like it took this kid seven years to get through his first two college degrees.

My son wad taking extra AP courses in High School...Counselors asked if we were pushing him...Nope...This was his idea...He liked excelling in academics...It was his “thing.”
He graduated HS early. Went on to college now working in San Jose. We have not lost him...he was not disgusted.
Education was important to our family, but we never pushed...and he did typical kids stuff sports, scouts, camps, etc....but he was an extremely fast learner...even in pre-school.
Good for these boys if it is what they want to do—and it appears they do.
