Actor-director Kevin Costner will endorse South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg as the Democratic nominee for president on Sunday, adding to the candidates growing list of Hollywood backers.
The Field of Dreams star is scheduled to appear with Buttigieg in Indianola, Iowa, Sunday afternoon for a town hall gathering of supporters, according to a tweet from Buttigiegs official campaign. Well, what was left of my respect for Kevin Costner just disappeared faster than a gerbil at a Fire Island bath house.
I didn’t care for him in either role. After Tombstone, any other Earp movie could only be a letdown. I just re-watched the Untouchables a couple months ago. Sean Connery carried that movie, in my option.
I did like Costner in Silverado, and Field of Dreams and Dances with Wolves were good movies.
I just think Costner is boring and uninspiring.
Nearly all of them are Democrats. I dont follow them for their political views and I dont care theyre famous.
They have no idea how we live in the middle of America. The coastal elites go their way and I go mine.
The thing is that even though Tombstone was GREAT, NO ONE who REMOTELY knew Wyatt or knew of him said he would EVER dance in the street or make some bitch face holding out his bloody hands even IF his own BROTHER was shot.
He wouldn’t have talked like a little girl about room service and traveling the world to Maddy...
He was MUCH more LIKABLE in tombstone, Earp’s character was.
He just wasn’t very true to life.
Is “endorse” a euphemism for...
Not really. His co-stars were the better actors.
Well, that’s it. The other Dems might as well throw in the towel.
Amen, Brethren and Sistern, this one speaks the truth.
One f@gg0t endorsing another f@gg0t. Whoda thunk?
But Vil Kilmer’s Doc Holliday was an epic performance. He deserved on Oscar for that portrayal.
I liked him in No Way Out with Gene Hackman. Otherwise he sucks as an actor.
He was good as Wyatt Earp and Elliot Ness.
Not really. His co-stars were the better actors.

This!
I forgot about No Way Out. I remember liking it, but not much about it. Wasn’t there an actress with a man’s name in it? Her name escapes me, but I believe she had a pivotal role.
Well now. This changes everything.
Burt Young? Was that her name?
Im lucky enough to have fallen madly in love with James Woods in the late 80s. And Robert Downey Jr in the 90s. They at least are thinkers and original and secure, not babbling hollywooder lines.
I always suspected that about him.
Val Kilmer was GREAT as Doc Holiday and it is perhaps one of the BEST character portrayals in the history of movies.
I own the movie and have watched JUST his scenes a hundred times :)
Of course he is sick of talking about it. I guess it gets annoying after a while, though I don’t know why.
Al Pacino said he NEVER gets bored being asked about his Michael Corleone character. That was refreshing.
But as far as playing a real historical character, it is EASILY among the top 10.
And he wasnt even nominated for best supporting actor. Biggest ripoff in movie history.
