Don’t forget he instituted the patently unconstitutional National Park System and was a big player in the passage of the utterly destructive income tax.

Not impressed by Teddy Roosevelt.

Also, Teddy ran as a third-party Bull Moose party (i.e. Progressive party) candidate, thereby splitting the Republican vote in 1913 and causing Republican President William Howard Taft to lose the election for a second term to Progessive racist Woodrow Wilson.

I would love to see Teddy Roosevelt's image blasted off Mt. Rushmore, may he rot in Hell.

Teddy Roosevelt was America’s first “progressive” President. The great-grandfather of all the meddling, inefficient, destructive, big-spending, social-engineering, debt-inducing nanny-staters and deep-staters we have today.

Throw in the Treaty of Portsmouth [NH] (the second one, in 1905).

Some have argued that it sowed the seeds of WWI, not to mention an expansionist Japan. (Korea was annexed shortly after that war.)

Of course, Czar Nicholas II & Co. pushed Japan into starting the Russo-Japanese war, thinking Japan wasn’t going to stand up to Russia grabbing an ice-free Pacific port...all but bankrupting both countries, causing social unrest for each of the two empires.

Any way, Roosevelt appeared to have sided with Russia, causing friction with Japan, and upsetting the British Empire’s Far East trade as well, now having to deal with Japanese trade competition.

But hey, Roosevelt got the Nobel Peace Prize.
