2019 has been an incredible college football season so far for CBS. The network announced Sunday that theyd posted the best viewership numbers for their season-long coverage (to date; they still have Army-Navy next week, which will undoubtedly bring in plenty of further viewers) in 29 years, and that Saturdays SEC championship game (which saw then-No. 2 LSU beat then-No.4 Georgia 37-10) averaged 13.703 million viewers. Thats the second-highest viewership total for any NCAA game this year, behind only Nov. 10s LSU-Alabama game (which also aired on CBS, and which drew 16.64 million viewers on average).

Yes the big school programs are like that. However there are hundreds of smaller schools where the players take part because they love the game.
True, and we hope not, but that’s the norm nowadays
There were alot of great games this year, including the non powers. OTs and down to the wires And always a few major upsets, thought 3/4 are going in undefeated
I always enjoy the coaching searches afterwards, and intrigued with how they do the following Fall
Are we talking nfl or CFB?
The topic is CFB. And that’s where I’m at
There are a lot of intriguing bowl games this year, quite different from other years.
The most intriguing is going to be Boise State facing their former coach in his last game at The University of Washington. Two of the most underrated coaches in Brian Harsin at Boise State and Chris Peterson at Washington. Both are in the top ten of winning-est coaches in college football. Boise State is the winning-est program in the FBS. It is almost worth taking time off to go to Las Vegas for the game.
Brent Musberger is currently the radio voice of the Oakland/Las Vegas Raiders.
They need a championship of champions. Nobody in the Big 5 should be left out.
Take the Big 5 and add 3 at large champions and every team in America has a chance at the start of the season.
Go Ducks
Hard not to. Good kid.
Ive been watching the college games on Saturday, but dont watch the NFL. I kind of like your idea, so I might try that.
Even though I think modern football at the college and pro level is boring (glorified Arena/Canadian football). I still enjoyed watching Georgia lose.
Why? None of the sec pull for us.
Screw the sec. If LSU wins, thats bad for Bama recruiting.
I wont be watching the playoffs because there are no teams to pull for, but my going with Oklahoma. For Jalens sake.
Same here!
Not necessarily the four best QBs.
Unfortunately, Tua suffered that horrific injury, so hes not included.
Didn't think of that. Probably true.
Yeah, thats a main concern.
At least OU or OSU winning wouldnt affect our recruiting as much.
Before The OSU game Saturday day I didn't think anyone could beat them as they are grown ass men. Now, I think they can be beaten by LSU or Clemson.
I agree. OSU looked very beatable against Wisconsin.
BM has called many memorable CFB games
Hail Flutie and Neb Mizzou Kicked Ball are two games that come immediately to mind
The ESPN 150 jury selected him as Second Best CFB Voice of all time, behind The Great Keith Jackson

Brent did a pregame segment before this years Montana State/Montana game. I went to the game, but my dad said it was a real nice segment on the state and was great to hear his voice.
