The 68th Miss Universe Pageant will be broadcast tonight (Sunday, 12/8) live from Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta, GA on the Fox Network. The pageant starts at 7PM ET and lasts three hours. Its hosted by Steve Harvey for the 5th consecutive year and broadcast simultaneously on Telemundo in Spanish. The Pre-Shows start at 3PM ET on Telemundo.
90+ contestants from all over the world will be participating. My high school friends daughter is representing Puerto Rico (Madison Anderson) so well be watching this evening and hoping that she brings the sixth Miss Universe crown to the island.
I think one of these will win or be the runner-up:
South Africa
Puerto Rico
Iceland
Colombia
France
France looks like she hasn’t washed her hair in a month...
I hope Thailand wins...Puerto Rico a little to arrogant for me..
South Africa is going to win...judges will lover her answer on climate change and her final answer...
Down to three. I think it will be South Africa and Puerto Rico but not sure in which order.
I agree.
i do find it rather comical South Africa is calling for love and tolerance for all as her countries gov’t is taking farms away from white farmers..
Grace Jones would be proud...
I know all those women are tired of smiling non-stop. My face was starting to hurt just looking at them.
Congrats to South Africa and Puerto Rico.
Yep. I only saw the last 15 or 20 minutes but the answers were sure pandering, lol. Oh well.
I decided to watch because a member of this forum knew the mother of Miss Puerto Rico.
She did not win...But, she did a good job. She won the runner-up prize.
About Miss South Africa...She won the main prize. She did a fine job.
I was impressed with both ladies.
I was not really expecting contestants to give conservative answers...
Miss South Africa is a liberal but she looked likable.
Thanks for watching!
It’s over now! A good pageant but I just don’t like this new format. Best to all!
Dawson was the best!
