The unidentified woman, who was flying from San Francisco to Atlanta, said she was stung by the venomous creature while midair.
She felt a stinging sensation on her leg, prompting her to go to the restroom, TMZ reports. The woman said a live scorpion then dropped out of her pant leg and crawled across the floor before being caught by flight attendants.

Mr. Wynt or Mr. Kidd on board?
What? Someone has a problem with emotional support scorpions, now?
Did they make an announcement for the owner of the Emotional Support Scorpion to please press their call button?
Starting December 15th, United passengers will be able to reserve seats in the “no scorpion” section, for a surcharge of $65.00 per flight.
my my! how many Bonus Miles did UAL charge for that nice extra service?
Mr. Kidd: One of nature’s finest killers, Mr. Wint.
Mr. Wint: One is never too old to learn from a master, Mr. Kidd.
I am sick and tired of these #&#&$ scorpions on this #&$!# plane!
Someone should make a movie.
Story may be more 'believable' had she stood up and dropped trou forcing the scorpion to fall to the floor.
(Which is exactly what I would have done had there been a strange unknown activity in my pants area. Actually many years ago while on a paving project I was standing in the grass waiting for my 9AM 'attack' on the highway and a strange creature flew up my leg and I hopped to the side of the road and dropped trou in the waning minutes of a typical Northern Virginia rush hour....under the TMI, yes, I was 'commando' but that didn't stop me)
Maybe she was trying to 'protect' the other passengers.
Either way, it is a 'Are you just happy to see me or is there a scorpion in your pants?' moment.
Even though it is not the best, still, Diamonds Are Forever is somehow my favorite 007 movie.

...uh oh.... wait for it....!!! LAW-SUIT...!!!!!!!
I’m sure there are lawyers even now lining up to try to
represent this poor soul.....
No lethal. But hurts like hell. The Bark Scorpion is nasty though.
Unlike the one in Iraq, and there a bouts, that will kill you.
Pretty big scorpion. That’s good for her. It’s the little ones that pack the really strong venom.
“’Did they make an announcement for the owner of the Emotional Support Scorpion to please press their call button?”
My Black Mamba and Sydney Funnel Web Spider are much better emotional support animals. Funny thing, once my fellow passengers find out aboiut them I have no problem choosing any seat I want.
Ive heard of getting crabs but scorpions falling out of your pants? That is nasty.
The Arizona bark scorpion (Centruroides exilicauda) is #5 on the most dangerous scorpions list.
