Please FReep this IF you agree and help me get the signatures I need to move this petition forward.
I just returned from a trip to Albuquerque, NM, and they are covered up in homeless people --- some of which are freezing to death on the streets in their harsh winter. They were put on buses and shipped there. https://www.newmexiconewsport.com/are-other-states-sending-their-homeless-to-abq/ I have heard of this happening in other places as well.
Please make it illegal for states to forcibly remove and dump their homeless on other states --- especially to states where the climate in unsuitable to sustain life in someone living on the street. President Trump, IF you can make this stop with an Executive Order that will save the lives of some of these homeless, many of them Veterans, PLEASE do it!!!
I believe Newsome is shipping Californians out!
I know homeless people here...coastal OR....that came here from ABQ. Mist that get dumped here are from Portland. Sharing the fruits of liberal social policy, I guess.
Bull.
Let them be shuttled all around.
You don’t like it, bus them somewhere else when it gets to you.
Me, I think they mostly need to be in the large scale mental institutions the Democrats shut down in the eighties.
I am willing to help keep bussing and ferrying them to Martha’s vineyard and Westchester as long as they aren’t being properly cared for.
I don’t want them where I live. I would gladly support bussing them out of my area!
Can they claim they are refugees from horrible Third World California?
Omar claimed that from Somalia, didn't she? Maybe the derelicts will end up in the US House instead of a bedroll on a sidewalk in LA. Could happen.
I saw an article a couple of weeks ago where the Governor Of California was bragging that they have a $7,000,000,000 surplus?
What are proposing instead?
“If a state has a culture, laws, or other incentives for people to be homeless -— they need to take care of the problem they have created themselves, and not dump their problems on other people.”
Oh, okay then. Lemme just snap my fingers and make THAT happen.
I fully support busing the homeless to liberal states who want them and will take good care of them :P
hehe
“I think they mostly need to be in the large scale mental institutions the Democrats shut down in the eighties.”
I agree, but those facilities no longer exist.
NO state is going to ship homeless to Martha’s Vineyard -— the commie states are going to ship them to conservative states if they can to mess US up.
New York City has been shipping homeless people around the country. There was an article in the local paper not long ago about how they’d shipped some to the gulf coast of Mississippi. The local officials found out about it and wrote a “cease and desist” letter to New York City telling them to stop, I doubt it did any good. New York does this without informing local officials where they’re dumping them, they just give them some money and a ticket somewhere else. Real scumbag practice by NYC but what would you expect out of them?
The homeless in ABQ have options. If they are freezing to death (yeah right, I’ve been here 30 years and if they were going full popsicle we’ve had heard about it) fine.
I’d put them on a cruise ship one U.S. port to another. How do you hide the benefactor?
7 billion divided by an estimated 130,000 homeless in California, works out to about $53,000 per person, which theoretically could be spent on humanitarian aid for such people. Yes I know the surplus will not always be there, but for now, these excess funds could make a dent in the problem.
Or we could continue to see feces pile up in the streets. Choices need to be made about issues which arise.
But it will be a problem for you when they’re shipped in from other places into your city/town. “What goes around” unintended consequences.
Signed.

Yeah, you’d have to get a bit farther north for that to happen on anything even remotely resembling a common regular happening. When the big chill super-freeze gripped much of the nation last winter not many very people froze even as the temps reached 30 below F.
