Humm. No.
Well Generally, the “About us reads”
“World News Daily Report assumes all responsibility for the satirical nature of its articles and for the fictional nature of their content. All characters appearing in the articles in this website even those based on real people are entirely fictional and any resemblance between them and any person, living, dead or undead, is purely a miracle.”
Humm. So, no, not true. (I will apply their own standard, “fake”, to any other story originating at “World News Daily Reporter.” OK to read as Strange Fiction if you want.
Thanks, Pete. I didn’t know that WNDR site was satire.
Regardless, Drudge Report has always been spoopy.
I used to go there for an overview of what the media were talking about. There was actually a study done which showed that Drudge linked to more leftwing sites than conservative sites. Some say it’s because he was really a liberal. Others have said it’s simply because there are more leftwing sites, so just due to probabilities.
IDK.
In the past, there were definitely some interesting juxtapositions of articles. Drudge was either trolling or signaling something.
