They don’t just kick high and look pretty.
DANG!
Getting harassed while jogging in Central park might find useful a hard high kick to the groin of the assailant.
Four ninety-minute shows a day sounds really punishing.
I have been to the Radio City Cbristmas Spectacular many times, and will be going again this year. The Rockettes are truly spectacular. Since I practice Taekwondo, I am well aware of how much strength, stamina, and flexibility is required to kick above shoulder height, repeatedly, and these women do it many, many, many times during each show. Add to that the energy and strength required for all of the other dancing they do, and you can only marvel at their fitness and dedication. And they dont really get paid that much for it.
We watched their Christmas Special from a few years ago on DVD. They are simply amazing!
Being an ‘uncultured’ Hick From The Sticks, I looked up some info about them:

“All dancers need to be between 56 and 510.5 tall.
While it might look like their heights are uniform, they all fall within that range. To make it look like theyre all the same height, the taller dancers are in the center and the shorter dancers taper out toward the end.”
I get my kicks on Route 66.
