The Pennsylvania mom of two kids found hanging in their basement has been charged with their murders, officials said.
Lisa Snyder, 36, was arrested Monday at her Albany Township home where the two siblings were discovered Sept. 23 hanging in the basement, news station Fox29 reported.
The children — Conner Snyder, 8, and Brinley Snyder, 4 — were both unresponsive and hanging from the same dog leash, the Reading Eagle reported.

According to court records detailing Snyder’s arrest:
Snyder had bought the dog lead the day before the children were found hanged and had picked it up from a Hamburg store that day. Adams said authorities are still working to find the cellphone Snyder used to order the dog lead.
Authorities say one day before the children were found hanged in the basement, Snyder Googled “hanging yourself” and visited a website detailing an effective way of hanging a person. Snyder also searched for “how long to die” from carbon monoxide and several searches for “almost got away with it,” a reference to a true crime television series on Investigation Discovery.

The initial reports weren’t real definite about the idea that the boy had done it, and freepers were saying, no way. As was the general public, I’d bet.
