Rush asks why Democrats are suddenly in a hurry to move this impeachment forward.
I believe it is to get it out of the Democrat controlled house and into the Republican controlled Senate. Why, so they can spend all of next year blaminging their impeachment failure on the Republicans using their controll of sentate to obstruct justice.
They want to capture the Senate so they can impeach him in his 2nd term.
Although I follow the news closely it seems you do so even more. Since I know little to nothing about these people I defer to you and in any case will wait, hope and pray that at least some do the right thing.
I firmly believe the President will do all he has the ability and authority to do since he is in the perfect position and has absolutely nothing to lose by staying on offense.
The absolute worse thing to happen to Trump is he goes back to being a billionaire living in one of his magnificent homes, gold faucets and all. His loss would be a far greater blow to those of us who see both the great things he has done and the potential to do much much more. I believe as things stand he is a lock for a second term but in politics as you know a month is a long time.
I am an ex “Noo Yawka” and DJT epitomizes what a NY attitude is all about. I love the guy for never backing down and his attack dog, never stop counter punching demeanor.
However this all ends the legacy of this president will be among other things that he completely ripped the facade of the Left and the media exposing them to all for what they really are.

When it was Clinton, the lefties rallied behind him because they saw politics as a blood sport. Republicans at the time would be happy to turn on any of their own at the hint of any significant indiscretion. Things have changed, and the democrats are finally starting to realize that they can’t move the needle Trump supporters. So you may be right, and they may be focused at this point only on trying to carve off any real meat for the rabid lefty’s consumption, but there will be no Nixonian erosion of Trump and it’s the democrats who stand to suffer the most if impeachment languishes. To Rush’s point; it’s more about getting it past the house so they can target some Senate seats.

What is infuriating is just how colossal a waste of time these lefties are costing us. It is so distracting and angering.

Yes, I too love DJT’s tough New Yorker persona. What’s amazing is that under that fighting demeanor is an incredibly generous and kind human being.
His pastor growing up was the famous Presbyterian Norman Vincent Peal. Look at the titles of the famous books this pastor wrote and we can get a very good idea where DJT gets his positive outlook.
I think their losses will be worse if they have a impeachment vote. No one is going to buy the argument that the rascally Senate is too partisan to remove Trump argument. The Rats have chosen wrongly in the theater of politics so far. I think will continue to do so. Sending it to the Senate is another blitheringly bad political choice. However it may be for other reasons, like a childish one like “You impeached our guy (Slick) now we’ll impeach yours!”. It could be that simple.

i have long thought this is hilliary’s hope that bill’s impeachment taint will somehow be diluted by having the same opprobrium applied to Trump. it will also give her yet another excuse to blame us deplorables for showing poor judgement in electing a discredited president and rejecting her delusional belief in her own superior, but obviously [to us] seriously flawed candidacy.
I know exactly what I am talking about. Between you and a dozen and more on this site I have never witnessed a more committed bunch of gloom and doomers who break their necks to come up with the worst case scenario in absolutely every instance.
