Funny thing is, in the past two weeks, the Cowboys, Eagles and Giants are all 0-2, and the Redskins are 2-0.
The NFL is eating its seed corn.
The game is a halting, convoluted exercise in overofficious legal proceedings, overlong ad breaks and a rule book about 10x too thick.
The vast majority of NFL teams are at best mediocre and the majority of those are flat out awful.
We are told that NFL QB is the toughest position in sports and it probably is...but if only 10 people on the planet can do it is the problem with the aspiring QBs or is it with vainglorious control freak coaches who are married to their hypercomplex playbooks and offenses?
Young people are turned off by all the downtime, officials’ meetings and silliness and I can’t blame them. Older people are annoyed by the SJW nonsense and the staggering cost of attending games.
Everyone else has at least two wins. No jeopardy, yet.
Didn’t the Jets beat those Cowboys a few weeks back?
