Air Force veteran Hutchinson said he was inspired to get involved by the desire for change in his (gay) community.
“It’s an uncomfortable position to say ‘I’ll be the first one to step forward and help change this,’ but once you take that first step it becomes easier and easier,” said Hutchinson. “It never stops being at least a little uncomfortable, but it totally becomes easier once you have some support.”
