Not too many years ago, a store like that would be blanketed with so many summonses that the manager would self-correct the situation in short order. It would also take an extra 30 minutes to respond to annoying drunks or psychos at 2AM.
Unless I misunderstand, this post asserts that police would harass citizens or fail to do their jobs - the jobs for which citizens are paying them - because of personal pique.
If that is true, doesn’t it support the Starbucks employee’s opinion of police?
I'm wondering why the CEO of Starbucks has not spoken on the chains’ policy regarding hate and discrimination against law enforcement. I hope they have a policy and that it is enforced.
It may be time for the entire chain to stand-down for 48 hours until every employee is retrained.
