And the bipartisan idiots in the Senate named the US Senate museum in Mass. for Ted Kennedy! Crossing the aisle just does wondrous things, doesn’t it, Mr. McCain? This mess was supposed to be fully paid for by private contributions; well, the Kennedys aren’t in power any longer so why would the big contributors give a dime? As a result, the bulk of the money came from out taxes and I really resent my taxes being used to glorify this bum, I don’t care what a close friend he was with the other grifters on both sides of the Senate aisle.
Just as the broadcast began, Teddy Kennedy announced that he will not seek the 2020 Democratic nomination.
In an odd way Mary Jo is a Hero of the Republic. But for her Teddy would have been president for 8 years.

Hope this works its way to You Tube. Saw a British-made documentary on Chappaquiddick a few years back that hypothesized that Teddy wasn’t even in the car. He was going to get his from Mary Jo while they were in the car on the island but when a security car came by around midnight, Teddy fled into the bushes while Mary Jo drove the wrong way toward the unlit bridge and didn’t see the turn.
Teddy returned to the party house where he had an aide drive him home (completely dry) only to find the ferry stops running at midnight so he jumped, fully clothed, into the shallow water and swam back to his hotel.
The story goes he wasn’t even aware of what happened to Mary Jo until the next morning when an aide called him. His demeanor changed from jovial to ashen. A cover story had to be made quickly so it wasn’t obvious Teddy was cheating on his wife.
Meanwhile, Fox News reruns their fawning worship of Charles Krauthammer.
When democrats tell me that only Republican administration have scandals, I remind them that only a democrat presidential Candidate and a Senator got away with MURDER.

I was watching th Apollo 11 movie/documentary which is astonishingly good, and there was 15-30 seconds of audio news footage in the background talking about Chappaquiddick...gotta admit, it made me grin.
I saw the first two episodes and I couldn’t believe what I saw when Ted issued a TV statement sounding as though HE WAS A VICTIM.
As I looked at it, the interview of Hunter Biden came to mind.
HE IS TRYING TO DO WHAT TED DID BY TWISTING THE FACTS.
My only consolation was that when Ted died, I thought the sympathy for him was very, very weak.
That man was held up by the rotten, fake media which made Americans believe that he was respected...because of his family tragedies.
HE WAS NOT LIKED OR RESPECTED ALL THOSE YEARS. EXCEPT IN MA.
Teddy: "Well sweetheart, we'll just have to cross that bridge when we come to it."
Cop: "Mister Kennedy, why did it take you 10 hours to notify the police?"
Teddy: "You got any idea how long it takes to dress a naked corpse under ten feet of water?"
