In light of several FReepers dealing with Stage IV cancer.

Should anyone try grape seed extract against cancer, it appears best to reduce all other forms of antioxidants, because cancer cells suck those in to disarm grape seed extract.

Does eating grapes with seeds work? So many are squeamish about anything with seeds. We have become a pansy society. Seedless watermelon, seedless grapes, seedless oranges, and on and on. Seeds don't hurt anyone, if anything they serve as a sort of rooter as they travel through the intestinal tract, scouring the lining of “stuck” material as they travel through, aiding peristalsis and are similar to fiber.

I had stage 4 colorectal cancer in 1996. I survived the radiation and poison. I wonder what side effects GSE have? Cant be any worse than the diarrhea that lasted for 10 weeks.

Amazon or your local Vitamin Shoppe or GNC.
Ive taken over 4,000 mg a day, spread throughout each day, for each of five days, on two separate occasions.
I once took over 6,000 at once and had issues.

I doubt your body would absorb as much with ground whole seeds.

I had it in 2011. Two major surgeries, lost about 2 ft of my colon, had a colostomy bag for about a year, and back to my not normal self. I refused chemo and radiation.
Still here.. damn...
To: jimtorr

In the mid-20th century, it was called Laetrile and was denounced by the big money funded cancer industry. The cancer industry labeled ‘mistakes’ in the Slone-Kettering studies as “inconsequential” and rely on those studies to attack the treatment.

iHerb.com and StopAgingNow.com are both excellent with 1-2 day turnaround, at least here in the Midwest.

Grape seeds (and probably the extract) are supposed to be good for retina issues, too. My friend’s young daughter (7 y.o.) was diagnosed with a totally scary and rare retina disease which doesn’t improve. Treatment was a mystery. Her parents read about grape seeds and she was eating a LOT of seeded white grapes. Her last checkup was last week (she’s 9 y.o. now), and there was no sign of the disease, and her vision was 20/20.
Maybe it was a coincidence, and maybe it would’ve improved anyhow, but it’s an interesting story.

Not to be argumentative, but I thought laetrile was apricot pits.
