Man who DIDN'T invent the Internet/WorldWideWeb? I think I'm going to add that to my resume since everyone else seems to get away with it.
He didn’t claim to “invent the internet”.
It says he is credited with inventing the World Wide Web, which he did by demonstrating the first successful communication between a Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) client and server via the internet in Nov. 1989.
Reading comprehension.
Tim Berners-Lee invented HTML which is what all web pages, including this one, are encoded in. So he in fact did invent the World Wide Web, which is not the same as the Internet.
