Rep. Mike Turner (R-OH) hammered U.S. Ambassador to the European Union Gordon Sondland on Wednesday during Democrats’ impeachment inquiry hearing on the House Intelligence Committee. Hill got Sondland to admit that “no one on this planet” told him that financial assistance to Ukraine was connected to any investigations.
“After you testified, Chairman [Adam] Schiff ran out and gave a press conference and said he gets to impeach the president of the United States because of your testimony and if you pull up CNN today, right now, their banner says ‘Sondland ties Trump to withholding aid,'” Turner said. “Is that your testimony today, Ambassador Sondland? That you have evidence that Donald Trump tied the investigations to the aid? Because I don’t think you’re saying that.”
“I’ve said repeatedly Congressman, I was presuming,” Sondland replied.
“So, no one told you?” Turner fired back. “Giuliani didn’t tell you? Mulvaney didn’t tell you? Pompeo didn’t tell you? Nobody else on this planet told you that Donald Trump was tying aid to these investigations, is that correct?”
“I think I already testified,” Sondland responded.
“No, answer the question,” Turner shot back. “Is it correct? No one on this planet told you that Donald Trump was tying aid to the investigations? Because if your answer is ‘yes,’ then the chairman is wrong and the headline on CNN is wrong.”

“I was presuming”. My god is this where our country is in the pursuit of justice and rule of law? The State Department is pure scum of the swamp. I would execute all of these coup scum including most from the last administration. WTF wasn’t the swamp ever drained!!!!

I heard it. Turner made him say Yes.
But the video clip on ABC news edited it so the “Yes” seemed an answer, “You have evidence Trump tied the investigation to the aid”
Exactly the opposite of what he really answered.
Im thinking Turner screwed up royally on this line if questioning.
Have it on good authority that Pelosi and Schiff are at this very moment focus testing the story line that little green men from Mars informed Sondland of Trumps actions
Amazingly, this is one of the most believable false narrative Schiff and Pelosi have tried push in these hearings

Please don’t hate me...but, I am kinda feelin’ sorry for the Ambassador.
Learning that he lives in that hell hole of a state, Oregon, and he has a business with his wife, and the nasty, horrible Leftist monster terrorists are threatening him, his wife and boycotting his business.
What these monsters are doing to this great country is a crying shame. I hope he gets some protection. He just didn’t seem mean. And now, Lizzie Warren is bashing him.

Never. I should have been clearer. The man made choices. It’s a shame he wasn’t grounded better for the USA. Those that have served take an Oath to defend our country. We never unswear it. He’s chose his side is my point.
