lizabeth Banks has spoken out about new movie Charlie's Angels' poor performance at the US box office, blaming it on poor marketing.
The $50million reboot – which she wrote, produced, directed and starred in – pulled in a disappointing $8.6 million on its American debut last weekend, falling short of its projected $12-15 million domestic opening.
And when asked at Wednesday night's London premiere if she believed British audiences would respond better, the star told MailOnline: 'First of all, everyone that sees the movie loves the movie. I think that we had a problem with just, like, no one knew it was out.'

She knows for a fact that everyone who saw the movie loved it because she asked both of them.
Apparently being woke didn't help.
Female Ghostbusters and Female Warrior Star Wars GRRRRRLLLL POWER movies convinced me that Rotten Tomatoes is a manipulator of public opinion. They actually locked out criticism of movies supporting woketard plots and actresses.
But yeah, the Audience ratings are more reliable than the critics, but only when they aren't manipulating those. I saw someone post evidence of 17 thousand ratings suddenly being deleted from rotten tomatoes because they reflected negatively on some female oriented movie. Might have been Ocean's 8, or female "Ghostbusters", or some such. I have forgotten.
According to Forbes, in an article written in August, Smith is the 10th most bankable actor in Hollywood.
I believe it. I like all the movies i've seen with him in them.

Looking at the reviews on Rotten Tomatos is almost amusing. Those that disliked the movie have reasons exactly counter to what those who liked it stated. “Boring,” and “No action” versus “Entertaining” and “Action packed”. Most of the positive comments seem to be based on the director or actresses, rather than the content, however.
True enough. Both of them did. Her mother and her girlfriend.
How many more woke flops does Hollyweird have to make before they figure out the product they are pushing is not selling? I am tired or advertisements and movies that stuff their SJW views down my throat. The girl power and LBGTQXYZ etc versions are just not entertaining or convincing. My pushback is to stop watching tv and to not go to movies.
