And now that he has surged to the top of the polls in Iowa, it may be time to start taking his unlikely campaign seriously — and asking what exactly it is about the mild-mannered mayor of South Bend, Ind., that has endeared him to so many of his fellow Democrats.

Some people desperately look for a prediction for the future in anything at all. The shape of the clouds. A mold pattern on the wall. Tea leaves. Not there.

It remains yet to be seen what happens, but I’ll never forget 2004 when Howard Dean was all the rage, and he had Iowa in the bag. He failed miserably. Most of the time I think it’s just pollsters/media types pushing who they want.
The main reason he is still in the race is to promote a positive image for gay candidates in future elections. The Left wants to completely change this country, but they realize they can only accomplish that slowly, by degrees. That’s why pete mentions Christianity so often, to blur the lines in the minds of voters who don’t know any better. The Left figured out a long time ago they need to use long term strategy, many on the Right still don’t realize what the Left is doing, and plays right along.
Hence my use of the word “relative”.

The reality is the black vote picks the D nominee... and Powder Puff can’t and won’t get any of it.
Biden is up 30 is SC... Momentum might get him some attention out of IA or NH.. but he’ll be dead by the end of super tuesday...
Unless Powder Puff can figure out a way to get the black vote to show up for Adam and Steve, he’s DOA... so far, he not only hasn’t found a way, he’s largely hated by blacks in his home town
I assume Powder Puff is setting the ground work for a 2024 run... No D is winning 2020, so the smart ones are laying the ground work for a 2024 run when they actually have a shot.
Pete is without question the smartest person in the Democrat party clown car running... but he should be smart enough to know even with the nomination no D is winning the white house this cycle.

Then whoever (homosexual or Hispanic) who didn’t get elected the previous time. This was the liberal playbook: black man, strong woman, homosexual and Hispanic all as presidents in succession.
