Emilia Clarke claims Game Of Thrones bosses guilt-tripped her into performing multiple nude scenes she wasn't comfortable with so she 'didn't disappoint fans'.
In an interview with Dax Shepard on his podcast Armchair Expert, the actress, 33, said she hadn't agreed to the nudity in advance but felt she should do it anyway because she was new to the industry.
Emilia said: 'I’m a lot more savvy [now] with what I’m comfortable with, and what I am okay with doing.
'I’ve had fights on set before where I’m like, "No, the sheet stays up", and they’re like, "You don’t wanna disappoint your Game of Thrones fans". And I’m like, "F**k you".'

And you didn’t expect there would be nudity involved?

I agree with you. That should be upfront in the contract by the producers.
But any actor/actress should also have a list of things that they are not willing to do that they should automatically attach to a contract.
Uhhh, 2 hours of reading the book would have let her know that her character was going to be essentially sold to a ‘husband’ while her character was 14-15 years old; the husband pretty much raping her the first few times.
And then the simple question of “Is my character arc going to be true to the book? How true?”
Nah. Don’t do that, get famous, get rich, and then later claim that somehow you were manipulated or coerced into showing the goodies on camera...

I can relate, as the exact same thing happened to me. I thought the request was odd, as I was an extra in a documentary about the iron ore industry. But who I am to question the artistic decisions of a documentary director?
Headey didn't do any nude scenes. They spliced her head onto someone else's body. She claimed she was fine doing it herself but she had the flu or some such nonsense. There was no way she was going to do a full nude scene walking down the road with people throwing food at her.
Clarke's nude scenes were well done and tastefully inline with the genre and the story. She was very young and had/has an excellent body so no harm no foul. Of course the porn sites stole the footage and used it to make money but that's not on Clarke.
She didn’t disappoint... So mission accomplished.

You DO realize that they used a body double for many of her nude scenes, including the infamous “Walk of Shame”?

The actresses who had the most powerful nude scenes were Lena Headey for the walk of shame and Emilia Clarke for the birth/hatching of the dragon eggs.

I’m on book 4 right now, it’s amazing how well the series sticks to the storyline. Although Jamie doesn’t have a gold hand yet. Tyrion only shoots his dad once just above his package, but he is on the pot.
Her nudity in the show was far less than the nudity for her character in the books. In the book she goes around wearing a topless gown half of the time.
The 1st couple of seasons were great but also in my humble opinion her nude and sex scenes were a big part of what made that series a hit.
I like her and I’m disappointed that she hasn’t really taken off in movies no pun intended I meant she hasn’t been a big hit in movies.
Yes, I did hear that along the way. But Lena is quite alluring and has an awesome figure in her own right. She’s pretty durn hawwwt...
