Former Nixon counsel John Dean: Trump 'should have been impeached the day he walked in'
John Dean, the former White House counsel to Richard Nixon, ripped into President Trump, saying he should have been impeached on day one of stepping into office.
"I think this president probably should have been impeached the day he walked in," Dean said Saturday on CNN. "He's incompetent. He has a terrible attitude. He doesn't understand government. He is in there trying to build his own brand, and he's taking advantage of the office from day one. It's just kind of caught up with him with this incident."
Dean claimed that Trump should also be facing "about 10 instances of obstruction of justice from the Mueller report," which the House Democrats' impeachment hearings have not discussed.
His comments come after House Democrats hold the first week of public impeachment hearings. The proceedings center on whether Trump withheld military aid from Ukraine in exchange for an investigation into Joe Biden and his son, Hunter Biden.

On day one? If that isn’t an admission that the whole thing is meant to overturn the election, then I don’t know what is. A president can be impeached before he even has a chance to do anything.
Statements like this just makes Trump’s argument that this is a Coup and not an impeachment, and therefore illegitimate.

This is INFORMATIVE, as it tells us that he simply hates Trump and wants him removed, without even considering this impeachment scam.
...therefore ANYTHING he says regarding impeachment is simply tainted by his bias.
Imagine, too, if Nixon hadn’t self-destructed and been forced to resign.
Then, his Veep Ford mistakenly liberated Poland in debate and paved the way for Peanut to win.
This chain reaction cast our country as weak and rudderless, leading to the Hostages being taken in Iran.
That vulnerability still haunts us today, in the form of Radical Islamic Terrorism and the imminent threat of Iran becoming a Nuclear Power.
At least, at that juncture, we were to be rescued by The Gipper.

I actually agree with John Dean here - Nothing that Trump has done while serving as president makes him any more deserving of impeachment than he was when he first assumed office.
If having a treacherous a-hole like John Dean dislike you is an impeachable offense then let’s get on with it!
