Brief synopsis:
Joe Rogan and Paul Stamets discus the use of Psilocybin and even Lion Main for various health and psychological reasons.
PTSD Clinical Studies
3 different groups have sat down with FDA scientists.... There has been a new turnover within the FDA and these scientists at just pure science without politics. They want to help people and several of them have said that they have never seen with Psilocybin in particular, a safer drug with such a dramatic impact with so infrequency of use. Just 1 or 2 times.
John Hopkins study of Psilocybin has shown pretty incredible benefits and lots of people are starting to look to it for treatment for people with PTSD and addiction issues.
This podcast is very interesting
Another good podcast with the same 2 talking about Lions Mane mushrooms is here.

Perhaps dropping a couple of window panes would be just the thing.
We can improve America one psychotic at a time.
Why would I want to microdose mushrooms with Paul and Joe? I dont even know them.
I more believe in macro dosing portabellos, perhaps sauteed with escargot in olive oil and then toasted between slices of seeded rye perhaps with havarti on one side and munster on the other using my panini grill.
“Maybe that’s why so many people are still dying from benzo addictions.”
VA had me on benzos for nearly a year.
I don’t remember hardly any of it, but those who knew me assure me I was functional.
Getting off of them was the hardest thing I ever did. Bar none.
Over a 1 week period I tapered down, then went cold turkey. Thought I was going to die. Literally. The physical symptoms were simply overwhelming.
Whiskey helped. But...
Dip’em in batter and deep fry.
Microdosing is something very different from ‘tripping’:

I’ve been very worried about the legalization of pot - I don’t think it’s a good idea. But more research into the regulated use of some hallucinogenics might be very useful.
Good way to go crazy.
Psilocybin and its miracle benefits. Read all about it in “Don Juan: A Yaqui Way of Knowledge” by Carlos Casteneda.
Spent a very charming afternoon with a friend in Big Sur watching a waterfall. Every single drop was visible thanks to psyllocibin. Exquisite, really, and neither of us went batsh@t. If it were legal, I’d do it again.
Is it legal?
Can I get it in a patch?
I’ve seen a few women messed up by benzos. Several died at young ages. Very sad.
Something else that I saw. Some doctors suspect that benzodiazepines might be more dangerous for seniors—at least some.
Simliar experience here on a few occasions. Not like something you take and want to keep on taking like “drugs” in general. More like visiting a museum. Just a really weird museum where everything is absurd and a you laugh your ass off.
Come to t think of it, about a million years ago, a lawyer friend of mine in Chicago went all the way to the US Supreme Court with case that claimed a church somewhere in Arizona used psilocybin (magic mushrooms) to enhance religious experience, not to get “stoned,” and should be allowed to do that. Supreme Court said no, but they sent him a note saying it was one of the best briefs they’d ever seen.
The Church of the Awakening, as I recall, run by a fellow with major creds...perhaps a psychiatrist.
Benzodiazepines should be prescribed for no more than two days.
Any longer is a crime.
I’ve taken exactly one Valium in my whole life.
Woke up 8 hours later, still had the “stress headache”*.
My chart now says “Hypersensitive to benzodiazipines!!!”
*It wasn’t stress, it was carbon monoxide...
Watching the fed gov and its’ antics I seem like I’m on a never ending acid trip.
