I knew a guy who had a Russian wife. By the time she left he had two wrecked cars and en empty bank account.

Where would anyone get the idea that Russians are cold hearted? My mother was Russian and if anything she was affectionate, loving, and gentle. Russians are probably among the most loving and affectionate people in the world. I never met a Russian who wasn't kind and sympathetic.
