Ohio State is good and Rutgers is bad. Im not breaking any news here. But just how different the extremes are according to the betting market is staggering. Circa Sports in Nevada is the first sportsbook across the betting market to post odds for the college football Week 12 matchup between Ohio State and Rutgers, and boy these odds are a doozy. The Buckeyes opened as a staggering 50.5-point favorites against the Scarlet Knights at Circa Sportsbook in Las Vegas. According to our Bet Labs data, just 53 college football teams have closed as favorites of more than 50 points since the 2005 season.

THE Ohio State University can put up as many points as they want against Rutgers. It is just a matter of how compassionate Ryan Day is.

Rutgers isn’t some directional school either. This is a Big 10 conference team. Ok, really it’s not a Big 10 school except technically it is.

Bergen Catholic would be a better opponent.

Game is at Rutgers. OSU can only travel 70 players. So cant play fourth string to hold down own score. OSU hasnt toppled 100 since 1916, no FBS team has topped 100 against another since 1968, and no college team at all has since 2003. Rutgers good punter might keep score under century mark.

I still can’t get a line on it on my sports app. All they are offering is over/under.

Rutgers is not Big Ten worthy.

At least they beat the team they paid 1 million dollars to play

The sole reason Rutgers is in the Big Ten is to make New York cable subscribers to pay for the Big Ten Network.

Rutgers is not Division II worthy. They should be playing Iona, Nyack College, Monmouth, Rider. Its an insult to Big Ten fans of opponents to have to put up with this s$&t.

Rutgers men’s sports is bad pretty much across the board. They’re a weird school. They don’t even compete very well in the minor sports. In fact they don’t even field teams in some of the minor men’s sports, like tennis or swimming/diving. They should drop men’s sports altogether or go to Div II, but obviously they get money from the 2 revenue sports, no matter how bad they are.

Rutgers won the first American college football game ever played, in 1869, over princeton (then known as the College of New Jersey). Sadly for Rutgers, that was the high point of their long football history.
We wouldn't recognize the game they played. Twenty-five men on the field for each team! Players were permitted to kick or bat the ball, but not to carry it or pass it. The object was simply to get the ball over the other team's goal line. Each goal counted one point; the final score was 6-4.

Hmmm will Ohio State make the Georgia Tech- Cumberland score look close.
For those of you in Rio Linda, Georgia Tech beat Cumberland 222-0....Ohio State 444-0...
