Vet’s gone.
He seemed to at one time have had access to military intelligence.
He may have been on a presidential detail.
Since I am speculating, I can say no more without just making things up :)
It’s what I gathered from some of his posts.
I kept my posts sparse until the night after reading about it.
I just didn’t feel right typing away and probably laughing at the funny quips made by FReepers on various threads.
Like I said in another post, we were the overnight crew a lot and so I got to know him maybe a little more than I get to know others.
Good man and funny and smart guy.
I think I will make a note in online calender to donate in his honor 11/10 every year.
He was too large of a character here to just be forgotten.
Amen to that brother.
I always felt his employment posts, which I think started in 2017, were an ingenious idea.
They were tacit praise for Trump and Conservatives on one hand, and conspicuously helpful information for fellow Freepers on the other hand.
Time is slowly but surely chopping down many of FR’s legendary posters.
I know Kaslin has had some health issues, and SunkenCiv, who has taught me almost everything I know about archeology and anthropology, are both beginning to cut back on their posts.
Too many birthdays for FR’s founding generation, I think.
And not enough politically passionate young blood to replace it.
We’re lacking in 30 somethings but we have 40 something and 50 somethings that are pretty passionate.
A bunch of us started following at 30 and now we’re late 40s early 50s.
One never knows what God has planned but hopefully we’ll be here for another 30 years :)

It does suck.
He was sick but it never showed in his posts and he never complained.
