RIP. Hand salute!
Wow, I am shocked. I think he must have been posting right up to the end. I knew he had health issues, but did not know it was that bad. God rest his soul.
Think we are all on a list, at least those of us that go back to the Clinton era. Hell, my father got a visit regarding me from the cia at his place of work (so, yeah, they were who they said they were...) Cia isn’t supposed to be domestic, but they interviewed my dad about me. Never found out why they did so, as i am a very law abiding patriot, so i wonder if it was because i was a member of this site. May have been a combo issue of my membership here and my father’s job at the time. They never contacted me. Very disturbing and confusing situation. Would have been nice to have been given some kind of explanation.
Another mainstay gone.
RIP. He was one of my favorites. My condolences to his wife and family.
Hooah 2d Division Vet. To his family, Hang Tough as Major Dick Winters of Band of Brothers fame used to say. The Lord will watch over your family and give you peace.
Same here.
So hurts to lose such a dear patriot and BELOVED Freeper!
He will be greatly missed by many. Prayers to the family.
May GOD’S rest and peace that passes understanding be with 2nd Division’s wife at this time.
I am thankful for knowing 2ndDivisionVet through Free Republic and his posts. He touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed.
This Cold War Army vet will sure miss our comrade-in-arms against the darkness.
Thanks to you, 2DV, for all the things you’ve done.
I salute you.
Now, go rest high on that mountain, FRiend...you’ve earned it.
Rest in peace.
A great lost to FR, our republic and his family. God Bless.

I don't have one negative memory of 2ndDivisionVet. Smart, clever with a dry sense of humor. He always left a good impression.
Prayers for his wife and family, in Jesus' Name.
