They will not have won their division. They will not appear in their Conference Champiosnhip Game. They will not be the Conference champion. They lack quality wins.
Their margin of defeat - at home - against LSU is just two points better than Texas’ loss to LSU - at home.
Line them up after Minnesota and Baylor and, should those teams lose, they’d still have worse credentials than the Big XII and possibly Pac-12 conference champions.
At the moment, Georgia can make a better case for inclusion. Their only loss was in overtime.
Yeah the SEC should stop playing football. They really suck. Only great teams like Baylor and TCU should matter. Those are real teams, like Kansas State. In fact, let’s just throw in Oklahoma and we could have that Super Conference the Big 12 entertain us with 72-70 games.
