When the technology is perfected so that ALL actors are CGI creations that you can’t tell from real, the world will be much better off never having to listen to holly weird actors preaching to the masses. No more bloated egos, no actors to follow, no more paparazzi.....

I agree. I think the last technological problem is text to voice. Right now “robo-voices” sound weird. Once they perfect that (so no human is the “star”) a lot of actors will have to learn how to code to survive. /s

I was in a store a while back and they had a large TV turned on to a football game. It took me a few minutes to realize that the image was not of a real game but a computer generated image of a game.

There may come a day when you (the viewer) could pick and choose which actors you want to watch in a movie. Or, perhaps even put yourself in a movie. Going even further, allow the viewer to choose dialog and determine how the movie ends.

Technology changes everything and the GOLDEN AGE of Hollywood will finally come to an end.

This is horrible, and evil technology that will be used to create Orwellian deep fake videos. When it gets so good you can’t tell real from fake, there will never again be a wrongthinker in government.

A setup where you could make and rework favorite shows and movies with CGI actors and all would be great.

I believe it may be too late. I've seen some very good faked videos. It's now at the point where you cannot believe anything you see, hear, or read since it can be, and probably is being manipulated.

You could remake all the old movies and make all the liberals sound like Ted Nugent.

I never understood the appeal of James Dean. I’m a woman but never found him particularly attractive. He always seemed to over act in many scenes, especially those weepy, angst-ridden, woe-is-me scenes.

I believe you are right.

About 20 years ago, there was a very good movie, based on a novel by a very famous author.

It was about some Americans in Japan, covering a case of exactly this sort of cover-up.

Sean Connery was one of the actors, I believe.

Technology is light years, more advanced now.

There was a movie with Al Pacino and a totally CGI fabrication. There was no real actor. She was purely electronic.

That's where it's headed. Programmers will create actors who act for nothing.

I'd much rather see that than to watch some narcissistic, obtuse, high school dropout who has accomplished nothing other than to enjoy success in hollyweird.

you’re thinking of “Rising Sun” based on Michael Creighton’s novel of the same name.

there will never again be a wrongthinker in government.

Conversely, actual video of quid pro joe bragging about withholding money to Ukraine will be dismissed by the msm as a “deep fake” cgi job.
