When the technology is perfected so that ALL actors are CGI creations that you can’t tell from real, the world will be much better off never having to listen to holly weird actors preaching to the masses. No more bloated egos, no actors to follow, no more paparazzi.....

I agree. I think the last technological problem is text to voice. Right now “robo-voices” sound weird. Once they perfect that (so no human is the “star”) a lot of actors will have to learn how to code to survive. /s
I was in a store a while back and they had a large TV turned on to a football game. It took me a few minutes to realize that the image was not of a real game but a computer generated image of a game.
There may come a day when you (the viewer) could pick and choose which actors you want to watch in a movie. Or, perhaps even put yourself in a movie. Going even further, allow the viewer to choose dialog and determine how the movie ends.

It was about some Americans in Japan, covering a case of exactly this sort of cover-up.
Sean Connery was one of the actors, I believe.
Technology is light years, more advanced now.

That's where it's headed. Programmers will create actors who act for nothing.
I'd much rather see that than to watch some narcissistic, obtuse, high school dropout who has accomplished nothing other than to enjoy success in hollyweird.
you’re thinking of “Rising Sun” based on Michael Creighton’s novel of the same name.
movie was “SimOne”...about a movie studio exec/producer that creates a virtual actress and starts a vast successful PR campaign to promote the simulacra....
I could make more QM productions.
I hope he wins a Oscar.
Conversely, actual video of quid pro joe bragging about withholding money to Ukraine will be dismissed by the msm as a deep fake cgi job.
Until you see John Wayne as either Thelma or Louise in the remake of “Thelma and Louise”
