Democrats have become the party of thuggery, from the top leaders abusing President Trump as a traitor and criminal, to the Antifa black shirts beating up Trump supporters in Democrat cities. The ginned up hysteria over Trump’s election has grown with Trump’s triumphant successes with the economy and national security.

Nope. The commie thugs have a tiny influence in leftist cities like Portland. Beyond that, they’re dead meat. Had a few commies come down south and try to start a leftist riot. They got arrested under the state’s anti-klan law. And are in state prison now serving 5 to 10 years.

Nope, not a tiny influence. Commies (social Marxists to be more precise) have been influencing us and especially our schools since the late 1940’s (search up Frankfurt School).
John Dewey (of Dewey decimal system fame) was working it into education in the 1910’s, as Pres. Wilson pushed it into government (19A gave it a great boost). They have not called themselves communist since Sen. Joe McCarthy spotlighted them in the 1950’s.
Their influence has led to progressive taxation, massive gov welfare & entitlement programs, Godless schools, political correctness, LGBTQ+ ‘rights’, consensus-building and today’s youts thinking socialism is great (their ultimate goal).
The CPUSA quit running candidates for President in 2008.

Gee, I wonder how that happened. Every county in America has a schoolboard. Do so-called conservatives show up at schooloboard meetings to tell the schoolboards how they want the schools run? Hell, no. They’re too busy remodeling kitchens, barbecuing ribs and worshipping Mammon.
Blaming commies for crappy schools is a typical excuse used by fake conservatives for their own ineptitude and complete lack of concern for their families and their local communities.
Can’t disagree with you. Conservatives mostly sit on their hands and whine to the choir.
One problem is whack-a-mole: these days the parent that speaks out risks their kid(s) suffering backlash from some of their teachers.
Myself, I was involved in my kids’ district, spoke at board meetings, was part of various committees. That gal super and union local did not like me much at all, but a lot of teachers (closeted conservatives) did.
