ROFLMAOPIMP !!!

Decades ago My first wife and I had a full blood Doberman Male that was raised on a Bottle from 2 days old. We couldn’t lock the car at the time so Fats Domino was trained to WATCH the car on Command.

One night the extended Family was at a Mexican Restaurant and the Margaritas were flowing heavy. We all come out from Dinner and one of the Cousins who was, shall we say not too bright to begin with sees Fats in the car and walks over to pet Him and Fats went into Guard Mode !! I told Him not to get to close. He already knew what Fats Job was but kept on going even after being warned at the time.

Well He sticks his face in the window and Fats bit one hole in his Lower Lip ! Cuz pulls his head back and screams “ He BIT ME !!!”

I shook My Head as I said “You knew way before now and were warned just now so don’t blame Fats for doing what He was Trained to do so I’ve got no sympathy for You and You’re lucky it was just a Warning bite”

The next day Cuz was asking why his lip was swollen and had the hole in it ?

“Stupid is as stupid does” < /Forrest Gump voice >

I have a suspicion that she tried to stop a fight and wound up caught in the cross hairs, particularly since it mentioned a bite on her ankle, as though she kicked at them as they fought and was bitten in the melee.

““They would get in fights with each other. They would take it out on her if I wasn’t around.”

Seriously, breaking up a dog fight is risky business, especially in a breed of that size and even though you hate to let them continue, you need to protect yourself, first.

However, there is this puzzling bit

“An officer who responded to the home for a possible overdose found...”
“ “Numerous” beer cans and medication bottles were also strewn about the living room and kitchen, according to the station.

“Matthews told police that his wife started most mornings by drinking beer and taking “numerous” prescription medications”

She’s dead in the bathroom, the dogs are outside, there’s a bite on her ankle and the dogs “killed her”?

This whole thing is just weird.

PSA: Do NOT mix drugs and alcohol, kiddies.

She goes bonkers at the window

This is a sure sign that her brain has outgrown her skull. :)

[and stop feeding pig ears, please, the recalls continue and none of them are safe, now]

Like waking up disoriented with your underwear on backwards, a sore butt...and a new myna bird in you kitchen.

I’ve learned to never underestimate how desperate people can get when it comes to obsessive disorders on a grand scale.

When people who are prone to OCD choose animals as their OCD focus, the irrationality can be astounding. And a little frightening.

OTOH, our daughter is very intelligent and has always been an over achiever, especially as a child and young adult - wrapped pretty tight (grin). When she bought her first house with a large fenced in yard she got a wonderful, extremely even tempered (and smart) dog (boxer mix). She has said that he rescued her. He really helped her ratchet it down. We all loved him and cried together when cancer took him last year.

One difference between her and the woman in the story is that she learned everything she could about dogs & dog breeds. Her love and attention to his physical and mental health was superb. Taught me a lot, that's for sure. I never realized I could love a dog like I did him.

I have a kind of story like that. When I was about 19 my cousin and I were living in a not so great neighborhood. I had a full blood, striped bull terrier that looked like a hyena. One of the sweetest dogs I ever owned and she never, ever barked. She went everywhere with us and was smart as a whip. Anyway, one night cousin went out of town and I and the dog was home alone. Went to bed and was woken up by someone trying the windows to see if they were locked. Immediately called 911 and and while on the phone with them heard a window break. I said...oh my God if its the window in the kitchen door the’re in the house now. 911 gal said do you have a weapon? No. In the bedrrom with the door closed just me and my dog. 911 gal says let the dog out. I cracked the door and she took off like a rocket. Never made a sound then I heard the screams coming from a male. The window they had broke was the one by the front door and they were trying to reach the door handle to unlock the door when she latched onto his arm and locked her jaws. I guess he had to pull his arm out of her mouth to get away. Blood everywhere. And right then the police pulled up in front and came to the door. They said good doggie. lol

And I will admit — even as a small, undersized rott (she was fat at 80 lbs.) my Ursa was a powerhouse. That jaw... oh man... that jaw. Inch thick skull. She side swiped me once, slowly, as we both walked out of my daughter’s nursery. Literally, she just ever-so-gently brushed past me.

Still... since she was made of dark-matter and concrete, she still bent my knee inward, ever-so-slightly tearing my already damaged meniscus in my right knee.

Another time, we were playing with one of her toys and I zigged when she zagged and a fang punctured my arm. At the ER, the doc said, “Obviously it wasn’t an intentional bite, because it was just a poke with a tooth.”

He went on to say that the worst cases of dog-bite trauma came from terriers. He’d had to repair countless achilles tendons.

I realized that my girl, as little as she was, had the potential to be dangerous. That’s why we trained her with a guy who used to train Miami PD K-9s. She got her canine good citizen, and was considered for therapy training — she was that gentle and good spirited.

She was a gentle baby who kissed my nose in her dying breath. I still compare all dogs to her.

But in the wrong hands, you betcha, she could have been deadly.

Now... I have a Carolina dog (honestly, and American Dingo) who is adorable... but a stone cold jerk. An adorable, soft-jawed, lovable jerk.

We have a deal with the Girls, they chase down the Piggy. They get 1 ear each and Mommy & Daddy get the meats:)

Everything but the OINK...

This is a sure sign that her brain has outgrown her skull. :)

Molly has a BIG HEAD !!! If there's no background noise and I grab Her nose and shake it back and forth I can hear BOTH MARBLES rolling around in there.

Well, dear hubby used to beat the dogs in the head with a baseball bat but I’m sure that didn’t affect their attitudes at all.

YA Think!?

From what little I know about this case were I the Local Constabulary the hubby would at least have a GPS Locator on his car and around his neck so it doesn’t get cut off like the gang members do in charlotte.
